Mokřad is a site-responsive light installation examining biodiversity and the regenerative capacity of wetland ecosystems. The project is informed by field research conducted in the area of the Choryňský mokřad and along the Bečva River.
Composed of illuminated resin objects installed within tall riverside grass, the work subtly evokes the presence and movement of diverse life forms inhabiting wetland environments.
Rather than directly depicting flora or fauna, the installation suggests ecological interconnection through light, material memory, and spatial intervention.By situating the work directly within the landscape that inspired it, Mokřad creates a quiet, immersive encounter that draws attention to the fragility and resilience of wetland habitats.
